I really miss having cats who do that. Cloud (my avatar) used to do that, and so did Salem, but they are gone to heaven now. Neither Jasmine nor Kensho knead. I find it a very affectionate thing for cats to do. And it's true: age has nothing to do with it. We have cats that are 7 and 8 years old who still knead.
