Given how many officers are wounded or killed every year on what start out seeming simple traffic stops, any officer doesn't dare get distracted or drop their guard when writing a ticket. Police must stay in control of the entire situation at all times and their attention focused on the occupants of the vehicle and to all external potential threats to ensure they live to go home to their families at the end of their shift.</p> <p>Yes, he rather launched the kitten well away with his foot several times, but it doesn't look like he really kicked the kitten, merely lifted and moved said persistent critter. I think he just used his foot to push the kitty away. I've done that with mine sometimes when my hands were occupied, but it was just a nudge with no force behind it. I think that's the difference between kicking and nudging. That's why the officer told his supervisor about it.</p> <p>I'd love a kitten on my head again, too.
