My honey is HOME! He responded so well to the antibiotics that the docs said he could finish recovery at home! The CT scan did show pneumonia in the lower right lung,but it seems to be resolving. The only worrisome part is there is also a nodule there, but the odds are good that it is benign. We will find that out next week. Victor was admitted to the hospital yesterday and is being treated for both pneumonia and the worsening of his congestive heart failure that the pneumonia has exacerbated. When he went in, his oxygen level was only 70%. By last night it was up to 85%, so we know the antibiotics and nebulizer treatments are working. Hopefully things will continue to improve today. This is a virulent type of pneumonia--4 people in Oregon have died from it already, so it is really important that we caught and treated it so quickly. And I know that your prayers have helped a lot as well.
