Regardless, in a sense it does seem a bit natural when it comes to Salem. Salem was never known to be the aggressive type. He was more of a very shy and friendly, easy going, semi hyper kitty. I suppose Salem just felt scared and stressed of Pooky's new smell. It seems that Pooky does look like a saimese, however, I got the pleasure to meet and interact with the parents of the litter. The mom was a calico while the dad was an orange tabby, and get this, they are both polydactyl; so the whole litter was as well. As for the litter there were three white ones, one black and white one and a black one. Salem came around and once I gave him a blanket that had Pooky's scent, Salem stopped hissing and was even more curious about the little ball of fluff that he heard playing around the house. Salem would see Pooky from a distance and sometimes follow him around. Finally this morning, when I woke up to feed them Salem and Pooky were playing. </p> <p>I let them interact a bit and then seperated them once I went back to bed. Once I got up I invited Salem in for a treat Salem hopped on my bed, were Pooky was, and he ate his treat and took a nap next to Pooky who was awake at the moment.</p> <p>I'm still keeping a very close eye on them. Still, I'm happy that Salem no longer hisses at Pooky.
