There are other symptoms but can't remember the list right now. I had went in because of the symptoms and a cough that I couldn't get rid of, all pointed to the thyroid. I saw the first ultrasound, which took an hour by the way, of my throat and it didn't look very good at all. Surprised that the tech even commented on it, but just waiting to see what they find out. There are stronger meds out there then the normal synthroid and I suppose that would depend on the end result. They may have and now I have to have more testing done thru nuclear meds imaging.
