I'm sooooo impressed with the latest advancements in therapy available to help animals with injuries of this nature! Wow! Susie, did you catch the video that showed his hydrotherapy in the earlier stages of recovery? Wow! I'm so glad they didn't give up on Lucky...The couple who were charged should be fined the complete costs of all treatment Lucky required. I find it hard to believe that $2000. is enough to cover what all was done for this dog. That's the max. they will ask. The 6mo.jail is max. also...Way too short of time for cruelty to animals. If it were a child the punishment would be so much greater. So.....what's the difference in the cruelty? Both are innocent and depend on responsible adults to care for them and protect them.
