I think Lucy Belle is fine as long as the pink root inside the claw is not exposed. I was grooming her and saw that one of her nail has break apart. It's still sticking to the nail bed. She doesn't seems to mind when I touch it so I doubt it's painful. </p> <p>What should I do? It is as if she didn't want me to know that she likes the juice. When I saw her sipping, I praised her and she ran away. Then later, I saw her circling her food mat area and always looking up at me. So, I pretended to move away and not watch what she's doing. And I use my camera's 10X zoom to capture that pic from far far away. LOL!</p> <p>Overall, her condition has improved way beyond what the vet and I both expected. The sneer and look on her face when she got that first sniff is priceless! Ran away as fast as she could. I think it could be the citric acid but I can't find one that doesn't have it! Since citric acid is a preservative, it's difficult to find any can products without it. On top of that, we know cats hate lemon and lime so that kinda explains why ... Maybe I'll buy my own tomato and just extract the juice myself. That way she got some salt but she also got the potassium she needed.
