He still coughing and taking treatments evey 4 hours and is bouncing off the walls because of the meds! This is another thing the doctors do! Put them on major steroids that makes them antsie and tell you to take them home and have them take it easy!! It's as bad as nailing jello to a wall!! The doctor gave him 2 shots of epinephrin and a double breathing treatment. Within 25 minutes his pulse ox was up to 96. So he sent us home (Yea!!) The Doctor wants him to be on the high dose of prenisone(35Mg.) for 3 days, He gets really shakey taking this much so he'll be home for a few days also breathing treatments every 4 hours(Oh sleeping in 4 hour intivales all night YEA!!) and all of his regular meds (4 different ones) and the words of "If he gets any worse take him to the hospital." I get a kick out of this "No! I'll let him turn blue!!! I know what that life is like as my big sister has asthma. It was a normal thing growing up seeing her carry around her 'wheezer sqeezer' we called it. She used to have to get shots every week.
