I understand your husband. I am allergic to all animals. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a kitten, and a fish. Nedyurtle the Turtle lives in the back yard--we share him with our neighbors. I take allergy meds and inhalers. I have the neubulizer for bad asthma attacks. I can't live with out my furry friends. Before you make the decision to add a pet though look at the ones that cause the least problems. Kittens under five months old are only $60, and you can get two for the same price as one. (Kittens do better in pairs.) Cats over 5 months old are only $15.
