Max says "Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrow" and thank you to everybody who sent him hugs. He is really much better today, he was even watching for me in the window tonight when I got home from work. Molly is still being a little witch! Whenever he gets near her, she growls. So they just kinda keep their distance-no fur flying.

I'm glad to hear Max is feeling better, MMM!

Bobby is feeling quite well now and I miss him at the office! I think Milo usually misses having Bobby around (he seems to seek Bob's company more than Bob seeks his) when he goes to work with me, but I think he was abit freaked out after the seizure episode and Bobby coming home and smelling strange and being so lethatgic afterwards. So for the first day or two, I think Milo was fine. When Bobbny and I came home from work on Wednesday and he was feeling better, Milo was so eager to greet him, he stood right in front of the door to the carrier, so I couldn't open it to let Bobby out! When he finally came out, Milo followed him everywhere!

I was going to tell Bobby he should take it easy for a little while, but little did I know, apparently he's been sneaking off to Alaska with KW!!!! So he's back to his old traveling self again.

Thanks for asking - and hugs to Max! Is Molly being nicer to him now?

Great Dane-
You were so kind as to inquire about Max this morning, but I selfishly forgot to ask about Bobby! How is he doing? Very well, I hope. Do you think maybe he should stay home with Mama for a while? Perhaps he's getting "travel fatigue"?? LOL! I'm sure he's loving his trips to the office with you. Wish I could take mine, too. Does Mi get jealous when Bob is gone all day, or is he really, really happy to see you guys when you get home?

Anyway, hope he has no recurrences of those awful seizures. God bless.

Thank you, too, CM for your hugs and good wishes.

Mornin' GD and everyone who's on site this morning!!
Max gave me another scare last night--he was just laying there, no activity at all. I checked the litter box, and there had been deposits, but, of course, I couldn't tell whether they were Max's or Molly's, but there was more than one, so I figured he must have done at least one of them. But he was still acting lethargic. Got up about 5:30 a.m. to check on him and when I looked into the still dark living room, I saw what looked like a dark stream with a glob of something at the end, plus a larger blob a little ways away. So I turned on the hall light-thank goodness the long stream with a glob was a play toy string with a fuzzy ball on the end. The other blob, though, was a tremendous turd!! With the size of it, I think it must have been pretty hard to eliminate it, so when he got the urge, he just let go!! But it was solid, so no mess to clean up. Now he seems pretty happy-he's still a little fatigued from the whole vet thing, but he's sleeping quitely on my lap right now.

And thanks to everyone again for their care, thoughts, prayers and hugs!!! Love you all!

MMM I am glad to hear Max could get in bed with you. That probably is a comfort for him as well as you. It is also a good thing he is using the litterbox. I have used Purina. With Max's problem though I have a feeling that it is better to have the food recommended by the vet. This isn't the first time he has had this problem is it? There are others, as you know, that are far better with this type of advice.

Thank you all for your concern-Max is doing much better but he's still kinda slow today. It was so sad last night to watch him try to jump up on a chair or end table to look out the window--he just couldn't do it, he was so doped up. He was determined to get to his food and water, he was so hungry. I couldn't get him to stay put in any of his favorite places. This morning he came up and got on the bed with me, so he's getting better. And he is using the litter box, thank goodness!

Haven't noticed too much hostility from Molly today--maybe she realizes that he's sick and is trying to be nice (ya think?)!! I'm trying to give her special time, too.

Sheba's Mom-the people at the vet's office were surprised that Dr. Black gave Max the K/D formula-they even called him to make sure that it was right. He said absolutely yes, but I should come in next week and get some of the C/D for use after the K/D was finished. This is prescription stuff, sold only by vets, they said. But it's expensive!! A friend suggested Purina 1 Urinary Tract. Anybody have any experience with Purina?

Bobby smelled bad from the vet, too, and Milo smatked him, but I didn't want to give him a bath since he wasn't well. I went and got some kitty bath wipes and they worked really well. You may even want to wipe down Molly, too, so they smell the same - that could help.

That's the food my vet gave Sheba when she had her UTI--it has the medicine in it-very convenient! After he finishes that food he will probably be switched to C/D to maintain. Many of my cats have been on this; my NY vet fed this exclusively to ALL his cats, whether they needed it or not.
