Yep - all you guys!</p> <p>One of our "babies" (not really - he's 23 now) who is an LT in our Army just called me. FROM IRAQ!!! I nearly fell over and was rendered temporarily speechless, which as you all know, is not an easy state for me to be in.</p> <p>It's around 8:30 pm there and he was just calling to let us know that he's fine! *sobbing quietly into giant hankie but so that he can't hear* They are in Baghdad, but he says things are "quiet" except, as he said, "for the occasional IED". His second mom (me) didn't need to hear that, but he knows to stay sharp.</p> <p>Anyway, he says his soldiers (82nd Airborne) are all good. Ready to come home, but good.</p> <p>May God Bless our Soldiers!</p> <p>*running off to cry a bit more* </p>
