Luigi was adopted from a shelter at 6 months of age and seemed healthy until shorttly after when he developed a problem with one of his eyes. This escalated into more problems with lameness and then it affected his brain and he had to be sent to heaven. I understand that FIP is not that common but more common in shelter cats. I am curious to hear from others who have dealt with this and some reasurrance that most of your kittens and cats are healthy and we will not have to go through a tragic loss like this again. Thoughts, advice depserately needed.
