My two are immune to catnip and considered the squirt guns we tried a huge, fun joke. Oz is a horizontal scratcher and confines himself to the hallway mat. Jeoff prefers vertical scratching and usually uses his scratching post. We have one beat-up old chair that they were allowed to tear up. And really they've been as good as gold otherwise.
