Getting ready to lie down finally after a long day driving and seeing the doctor, so ready for the Bailey's or actually would prefer a margarita. Hope that everyone is having a fine day, it was windy here and warm of course.
The doc said that my bp meds were essentially at levels/dosages that I wasn't taking any at all for the last year, so that was upped and we shall see if that improves my bp and helps with the headaches. Of course my bp was down some when I went in 159/94, which is much lower than it has been for the last two weeks. So that's that and now just to wait on the meds possibly taking effect, if not then its call the doc and we work on something else.

Deb, I am so worried about you. But, although I hate to ever agree with a doctor (since nurses are quite convinced that we know better), I do think that your headaches are associated with your BP, which I think (nursing opinion only) is completely not being controlled by your medication. (gosh, my English professor would disown me for that run-on sentence!!!)
Bailey's IV?? Wow, Bellantara - now that sounds like my kind of IV medication!
Evening, Everyone! I'm only here till DWTS begins at 8:00 (CST) because I must see who is eliminated tonight! And I'm sorry, because I am a Young Frankenstein fan, but it must be Cloris Leachman. You know, there is something about 82 year old cleveage that you simply don't want to be witness to on television.....

WWM, and you would be proud to know that it was actually the Nurse Practioner who came up with the idea of checking my bp meds and the doseage that was prescribed to me. I already had the idea that the BP and headache were inter-related but needed someone to confirm and fix it.

WWM, at least the Doctor did have the knowledge to admit that he didn't think of looking at the doseage(s) and that the Nurse Practioner was better than he at thinking (kind of a backhanded compliment).
Evening everyone, well off to taking a bit of a nap, its my Friday and may not stay the whole shift but they will at least get me part of it. See anyone awake a bit later, enjoy watching DWTS, I would watch it just too tired today :)

We used to have a Persian cat next door, who every time he tried to groom himself, got a mouthful of his own fur and had to spit it out, spllllllawwwwww. But if you tried to comb him, he'd wriggle till he got away, then hide and attack you next time you walked by, no matter how much later it was. Gustus never forgot and revenge was paramount!
I am engaged in my favourite activity -- sending out invoices. (Actually it's not but the end result is nice.) It's a sunny day here but we are again waiting for the southerly.
