I didn't notice until just recently that, even though I brought all their toys, blankets and familiar things to the new apartment, Max and Molly have done their own "decorating". First, there's a bright pink with purple polka dots fishy in the kitchen, there's a calico mouse in the bathroom, and in the bedroom (like in our former bedroom) there are all sorts of the colored fuzzy balls (with shoestrings attached so I can pull them out from under furniture!) both on the floor and on the bed! Guess they took the things they liked and put them out to kinda "mark their territory". I thought it was clever of them to put something in each room. Smart kitties!

That must be it, NNGM, because even if I move the items, they just reappear, like Max and Molly are saying "I put that in here for a reason!" LOL

That's so funny! I have a basket for my cat toys, in the living room. The kitties dig out favorite toys from time to time. Haven't been able to train them to put them back in the basket yet, though...

How wonderful that Max and Molly felt comfortable to put their things out in the rooms!

I agree, ILOVEMYCATS, but sometimes it's scary, like when you step out of bed onto a soft little toy or puffball and you think it's a cat!! Although usually they are both ON the bed.
