Evidently she never left the house but was in a closet. Mom said she doesn't know why she didn't make a big fuss about being shut in it has been 4 days. I'm sure that next time one of them goes missing mom will check all the closets and places with doors--Mom is beside herself with happiness and we both thank you for your prayers.

That is amazing! Thank goodness!! Your mom must be so happy. I bet Rugrat won't be allowed out of your mom's sight for a good long time! :D

What a patient wee kitty. Very glad she has "come back".

What happy news, Sandi!!! We had a kitty go missing once and so I completely understand the emotions. Maybe things were so cozy in the closet that she didn't see the need to complain. In any event, I am so happy for the outcome!

closet rat LOL and it fits this cat. I know most of them would howl up a storm. My Patches used to actually through her whole body up against a door if she thought she was on the wrong side of it. Got my attention.

It's wonderful to hear your mom found Rugrat. Silly kitty. Several years ago, Mittens was 'lost' for two days. I opened the closet to get the vacuum cleaner and there she was just laying on the floor like no big deal. I told my friend what happened and she told me the story of her childhood cat being shut in the toy chest for two days before he was found.

I wonder how they can go that long without getting desperately hungry and thirsty. I've had cats locked in sheds and wondered how they managed but figured there were bugs and mice

Aww, poor Rugrat! Glad to hear you found her. I am too surprised that she wasn't crying to get out. If I accidentally close Mia in my closet..she scratches the door and if it happens to Sylvester, he lets out little meows.

I talked to mom a little bit ago and she said Rugrat wouldn't speak to her for several hours but came to bed last night and has been her normal self today. Mom was still crying but it was tears of joy today. MCW, we were both touched by your mums concern. Its so sweet that a lady in England is concerned over a lady and her cat in Montana. (I was going to add of a certain age but don't want to offend anyone :D)
