  3. Sorry Cm I was finding my rain gear and taking a shower!
My head hurts more now with the stress and I have to walk as I am the team captain for my school! It's also very cold this morning It was 50*F in the house!
I started my 1st fire of the season! YUCK!!!! I am wearing 3 shirts and 2 pair of pants and my hoody and rain coat! I left my waders at work! It was supposed to be nice!! It looks like it might clear up just before the walk is to start!
Keep your fingers crossed! We are walking the board walk at Jones beach With the wind off the water it is going to be cold!!

  4. Dorie, I hope the weather clears up, the wind stops blowing off the sea, the three miles zips by and you are met at the other end with hot coffee, hot food, hot showers, heaters, towels, Lazyboy armchairs and stiff brandies (or whatever else you fancy)!

  7. Aw, that doesn't seem right. You can't walk three miles with a Lazyboy armchair... ;-) But I'm glad the hot food and Baileys are looming large in the old crystal ball...!

I hope the wind and rain blow your headache away. Think about the nice warm bath you can have when you get home!

  10. Dorie, did you make it through the walk. Did you end up looking like a drowned rat? Are you all nice and warm and hot chocolate filled now.

  11. update on the walk... The rain stopped :) just as we arrived and it was cloudy but I made all 3.1 miles actually I walked about 7 miles after walking around the venders and walking to and from the car! My Knee and foot were killing me and still hurt today but I will live! Then this morning I turn on the news and there talking about the walk and showing a clip and there I was! I was on TV
