  1. We have a Marmie Night at the cafe today. On the menu there are the usual treats and lots of - and I mean LOTS of - orange treats and the cafe is inundated with fuzzy orangies. Name you poison and join the fun!

  2. Miu, you're just in time, I've just closed up the Night Shift! I will have an orange juice please and an apricot Danish pastry and some fluffy marmalade kittie cats... mmmm, orange tastes good!

  4. Good Afternoon Miu, Good Evening jcat!

How are you both? I will just have some OJ for now and some marmie kitties :)
    How was your film Miu?

  6. Hi, CM! It was better than I expected, but even moodier than I expected. :)

  7. *puts an OJ and four marmie kittens on the table for CM*

  8. Thank you, Miu, how delicious! I hope it wasn't too moody... I had a nice day, I ended up having dinner with friends. They have just got a new kitty from the SPCA (they lost their boy Monty last year) and I met her for the first time, a lovely, longish-haired, year-old, black pussycat with a white patch at her throat and a fluffy tail, called Minnie. Minnie is very affectionate and has already scoped out the most comfy cushion on the couch and the best spot on the big bed... and she's very talkative too!

  9. Scritches to Minnie! She sounds like a beautiful spirit.

  10. She is a sweetie. I would have liked to bring her home but they wouldn't let me!

  11. Miu, I'll bring my own cranberry juice, if that's ok with everyone. I live in the orange juice capital of the world and I don't like oj!

  12. Hi Terri, it's OK, but I hope you don't object our marmies!

  13. Morning Terri, I bet you like orangie kittens though...

  14. Jcat: Hi' five!

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  15. Hi Terri!
Thanks for the OJ Miu and the Marmies!!!

Sounds like you and Miu had a nice day jcat.
I did really nothing yesterday, did a few errands, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am hoping to meet my sister for lunch, just her and I so I can get away for a hour or two of me time. I hate when Wayne is sick.

  16. I love orangies! Just not the juice!

  17. Hi five, Miu!

CM, that's no good, does he run you ragged? I get the impression not many hubbies are good patients. I hope you get some nice time off with your sister. Does she live close by! It's nice to have family near.

  18. *gives six six-week-old marmies to Terri*

  19. He doesn't run me ragged, it's just he is a miserable patient. He just drags and acts like he is the only one ever been sick. Sometimes he gets a bit snappish too cause he doesn't feel good. So there are times I need to kill him :)
My sister lives about 7 minutes away. She's 18 years older than me, but we have always been close. Her son, my nephew and I are the same age and we were raised like brother and sister most of our lives.

  20. CM: Dump him in the basement if he complains too much! ;)

  21. awww baby marmies!!! awww baby kitties....awww kitties.....lol

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  22. Oh Miu..if only I could....

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  23. Ooooh! A hubbicide! Don't do it! Think about the basement instead!

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  24. hubbiside..I love that word!
I can't kill him, besides the fact I love him, he is our only means of support right now... lol

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  25. Aw, CM, it sounds like you have a lovely family around you (all except for that sick hubby, lol). I hope Wayne gets better soon, for your sake!

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  26. Okay, then, I hope Wayne gets better soon, for his sake! Hubbycide is a capital offence! The basement doesn't sound too bad, lol...

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  27. I too hope Wayne gets better soon! Men are always lousy patients, they are so upset when they are feeling bad.

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  28. Nah, I think hubbicide should be juxtaposed with shop lifting!

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  29. That would be all right if you had an all-wife jury... But what if you had an all-hubby jury?

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  30. Damned - didn't think of that... :P
