   I got a full story from a friend.... didn't want to post the whole thing here, but check out the confirmation of the horrors with his new "Cocoa Mulch"

   Oh gosh 2P,I'm glad you posted that. I've used the red looking mulch in the past.

   umm, that would make sense. If the chemical that is in chocolate is from the bean then it would more than likely be found in the rest of the plant especially the husk around the bean. Therefore a mulch made of the husks froma around the cocoa bean would be dangerous to dogs. I doubt cats would eat it though, but then again there is always the odd one that will....
   But I guess the way I think is not how most people think and it is good to tell them these things (I have learned this the hard way over and over again)
