Arr! I'm Blackbeard the Pirate, I yam, I yam.
I'm fierce and ferocious, and constantly scam
To steal away hearts with "oohs" and "ahhhs"
With my little black spots and tiny white paws.
'Round my tiny paw pads I've got mom and dad wrapped,
Their resistance to all things feline I've sapped.
I've trained them well to serve all my desires
For good food, and clean litter, and all that transpires
From being famous--I was once TDK'd,
On June the seventh, in the year of '08.
Had you forgotten already? Meowmy and Paw, they did not
For they petitioned politely for this poetry plot.
Alas! Ivory Bill could not rhyme today,
For he reluctantly had to help Joshie on his way
To the Bridge, as Meowmy and Paw did for Mr. Bug.
Happily, both found new babies to cuddle and hug.
Bill found young Dashie, and Meowmy and Paw, they found me.
We formed a new hoomin and kitten family.
From sadness was found new love and new hope,
So I assumed ownership--will I let them go? Nope!
Like the pirates of old, I came swashbuckling in
Like Lafitte, and Henry Morgan (did I tell you he's kin
To gatakitty before? I'm sure that I did.)
In any event, I now live amid
My Meomy and Paw, and there's two other cats:
There's Betty, who was homeless, and also that's
Got to be mentioned is Mr. Bug's mom
Named Boo Boo Kitty, who met up with a tom
Just before her spa visit, and had kittens four:
Mr. Bug and three calico girls to adore.
Miss Boo Boo missed her Mr. Bug so much,
They brought me in to cause mischief and such.
I'll saunter away now from this pirate tale,
But there's more to be told, do not doubt, do not fail
To heed this parting admonition here written:
"If you're looking for chaos, begin with a kitten!"
