This one was a little different from the one I got the other day. I had already fed Tikka her second helping of breakfast (brunch?), and she was in the kitchen tidying herself up after her meal. The radio was on and Paul Simon's 'Bodyguard' was playing on the radio. I made the mistake of singing a bit to Tikka - "...you can caaall meee Al..." Oh DEAR - the ears went flat and sideways, the eyes opened in major alarm and she literally tilted about 45 degrees sideways in preparation for instant flight! Needless to say, I stopped singing instantly and made my apologies!

Anyone familiar with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"? There's a song called "Great Big Gig in the Sky" (I think that's the name of it) and consists of three women individually singing various notes all over the scale. Incredible vocals. I had it on when Leela was in the car with me and she started singing too. I gave her the look!

LOL at Tikka. The current gang usually gives me looks when I sing too - but it is more the "You're an idiot" look than anything else. For some reason Nibs always wants to come sit on my lap when I talk on the phone - no idea what that is about.
My Jerrie was a huge music lover. Whenever I had the radio on he would lay right in front of it. When I would play the piano, he would come running and either sit on the bench next to me or curl up in a nearby chair to listen. The only music he really hated was that stupid "Jingle Cats" Christmas album.

Hahah! Tikka needs to put in her requests!! I bet she could even write a few songs of her own..the little darlin'!! My Abby would sing with me too when we were in a silly mood and started in with some silly country song lyrics...Like Bill Chambers..'Big Ass Garage Sale'...Way Funny!!! :D
