Great idea, MerD! I love Foodnetwork and also Kitchenlink's copycat recipes. Last year, we surprised my mother for her 71 1/2 birthday (she's a Christmas Eve baby and usually doesn't want much fuss) and we recreated her favorite meal from Friday's--French Onion Soup, Broken Noodles, and a salad.

Since I cook professionally and develop original recipes, I don't use any of these sites, but if any of you ever have a question -- such as why something didn't work or how to improve a recipe, etc. ---- I'd be happy to answer questions.
