Spiders are ok as long as they are outside and I see them from a distance. We have writing spiders that build large beautiful webs on our bushes. They are lovely from a distance.

We have huge spiders here in central TX, buy have never seen one like that. Rather spooky, acturally. I don't mind spiders, but I prefer them to be outside.

If they're common house-spiders,I don't mind them a bit. Actually quite good at the pest-conttol,they are! Brown Recluses,Hobo Spiders, etc. can keep their distance.thank you very much! This one is quite beautiful to look at,but until I knew it's morphology, would stay at spit-length from. Thanks for the pic,Dee!!

that is too cool, my mom gets brightly colored crab spiders, they come in white, yellow, orange and red and look like little crabs on huge webs

Nifty pic! Generally, I don't kill spiders, as they eat lots of other bugs. I trap the big ones that are in the house and relocate them outside.

Bobbisox, Martha Stewart had photos of a spider colony in Tx in a park, thousands of them living together, (very rare), and had woven a web two football fields long! Wow....

I hate all spiders. It may be pretty colours but it's still a spider and as such needs to be at least 100 miles away from me fo me to feel comfortable. I don't mind seeing spiders' webs outside, especially if they are covered in dew or ice - but if you can see the spider too ....... YUK!
