I'm going to be staying home the rest of this week, so I won't be on the computer. Feel really tired and just generally sick, and am having considerable pain. Lesions still appearing, though most of them seem to be scabbed over from the first rather than going through the blister phase. Psych doctor has had me on Neurontin for years, and it turns out that's something they use to treat this, so maybe that's keeping this from being worse than it is.
Ladykat, speaking of insurance, the state board of regents has decided to put a limit to the amount they'll pay toward the type of insurance I have, and that will increase the monthly premium by almost $300 beginning in January. Fortunately, they've dumped the psych care provider they had; my doctor considers them the managed care company from h*** and won't work with them. Now the same company that covers physical care covers psych care, so I may change to the PPO they're pushing. May have to anyway; can't afford $300 a month extra, even with my raise. You know no one on the board of regents is ever going to go without medical treatment they need; the embleer rah (who else is it who speaks Lapine?) never have to live with the policies they make for others.
Anyway, going home to get better. Will try to check back next week.
