Awww Misu :)
Fred has been missing his beautiful girl.
He peeks through the cathole and asks Meowmy if he can go visit Misu...He has a beautiful emerald green collar with emeralds and a paw full of roses.
Meowmy agrees, but only if he behaves and doesn't give Miu any problems.
Whoosh through the cathole to Finland Freddie goes to see his beautiful Misu.Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

Morning everyone, its still dark here too but I am pretty sure that dawn is just around the corner. The crew has been trying to get me up all night long, they are used to me being home during the night hours. Its that time to get ready for the day and dealing with 'all' these people @ work. Have a good one if I don't make it back, may not be able to sign on during work it all depends on who is there. Ciao :)

Morning, all!
Today is payday, hooray! Always a happy thing.
George and I had a some good/some bad night last night; he came and sat with me on our oversized chair and let me pat him for a while, but then less than 20 minutes later he *ran* across the room with no provocation at all to attack my legs. The ensuing conversation went something like this:
Mr. K: Just stand still, don't back up.
Me: That just gives him an easier target
George: *pissed-off yowling sound*Hubby finally tossed the Nerf tennis ball across the room and it bounced off George's butt, so that distracted him (I had tried the wadded-up-paper trick to no avail). Once his attention was diverted he played nice with the ball for a while (he's really cute when he kicks it around and it gets between his feet; he can't figure out how to get away from it).
Is there any coffee, pretty please?
-
Oh, Kilroy, I'm glad it's payday and sorry that Georgie still thinks your legs are the best squeezie toy going. But it sounds like he is gradually getting better -- two steps forward, only one step back -- which is good. I think he has a nerve being pissed off about it when you take your legs out of reach though -- who does he think they belong to? ;-)
-
Good morning, all! A chai latte for me and a plate of crisp bacon and scrambled eggs.
Kilroy, have you tried using a spray bottle when he first attacks? I know you've probably tried everything and I'm praying that he will soon that it's not a good thing to attack mommie.Posted 3 years ago by LadyKat of IA #

He was nice this morning, so you're right JCat, it seems like we're making some progress.
Oh, and I finally got up the nerve to leave the bathroom door open when I'm in there (he HATES closed doors and tends to attack when I come out), and so far no problem. The first time he came in and sat on the bathroom rug making biscuits with his paws, the second time he didn't even come in.
-
I've definitely used the spray bottle, LK; in fact, whenever I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I take the spray bottle with me. This morning hubby referred to it as my crutch, but I'm sorry I'm not going out into a dark hallway without some means of defending myself if he decides to attack.
Unfortunately, I think he sees getting sprayed as some kind of game, so it doesn't really deter him.
I should repeat, things *are* getting better (I feel like I complain about George a lot and you all must think he's a monster. He's not, in fact with everyone but me he's a big lovebug).
-
Aw, we don't think he's a monster. Kilroy, my parents have a big boy called Sam -- they got him from the SPCA when he was about two -- and he is a very affectionate, friendly, lovely cat but just occasionally he hides out in the hall and attacks my mum's legs when she gets up in the middle of the night. She is in her 70s, and her skin is more fragile than it used to be and a couple of times he has made her leg bleed profusely. It is doubly upsetting because they love him to bits and he loves them to bits -- but just occasionally he is a bit too boisterous. So I know where you're coming from. It's like they forget you're their mum and decide to treat you like a littermate instead...
-
Kilroy, we don't think Georgie is a monster, we know he is a big old cuddlebug. He just loves your legs :)

You guys are early birds!! Happy Friday Family
((CM, LK, Miu, JC, Kilroy, Siobhan & Deb))
I'd just like some bacon, some eggs over medium, and some toast (I'm hungry today). I'll wait patiently for Andy, and until then may I have some of those extra playful kittens to cuddle with?
