  4. Yesterday I was at my friends cat rescue and she has a few bengals. Those are some wild and crazy cats! There is one older boy who is a super lovebug.

  7. I'm on my second cop of coffee and Baileys. I can always have a third cup. Those bengals are pretty cool. I've never seen one in real life. I'm tempted to ask my friend if I can foster the one boy bengel.

  15. Good morning, all! I slept in this morning, as did Max and Molly. But now I'm up and they have gone back to bed! It's a beautiful, cool day here in Michigan. Gotta get going and get some things done because I have to go to work at 4 p.m.

    Feels like fall in the Big Apple today; my hands were cold by the time I walked 5 blocks to the gym (where I did an entire hour of kick-butt cardio - my legs are NOT going to be happy tomorrow). I think it might be time to start making soup to take to work and drinking red wine instead of white.

    Finally wore Georgie out, and managed not to get chomped on in the process (although he tried a couple of times). Big project today is cleaning out his box (yuck), but have to wait until hubby is up from his post-lunch nap.

    Hope all is well with everyone.

    Ran some errands this morning after I fixed breakfast. Now made Maddie some lunch and she will be napping in about 20 minutes.
    It's a crisp fall day here too Kilroy, it's like 56 and a bit of chill in the air. I love it.

  22. Hallo, everybody!
    I was up early since I had to be at my friend's house at 7:30 for the breast cancer walk. We had a nice morning and the route we walked was very nice, though it was hot. Afterwards we went out for breakfast and then parted ways until tonight when we're going out for dinner and a chick flick.

    I stopped on my way home and got a harness for Bobby so he can start spending more time in the back yard. He was so funny! I got him into the thing without a problem, but once I carried him outside and waited for him to walk off, he'd take a step and then fall over on his side. He'd lay there a bit, get up, take another step and promptly fall over on his side again. He started making little whiny sounds, until he spotted a bug and took off! Silly boy!
    I used the leash with him, but I want to get a long piece of cable or something to tie to his harness so he can play around out there while I sit and read a book or something.
    But so far, so good!

  25. I couldn't help but laugh at him, he was just so funny! Once he started moving, though, it didn't seem to bother him.

    CM, yes, I've been looking forward to today, since my friend's husband is going out of town. Since most of my friends are a bit older than me and married with kids and all, they are always busy with their families, so it's nice to get them to myself every now and then :)

    JYM...I hope you get great test results.

    Good Morning to all!! Wish I could say the same to myself. It started to sprinkle where I'm at. I don't have all the raccoons cleared out yet,so the rain can mess that up. The last thing I need is to have them take up residency under the house. I'm so lonely here (might as well be by myself living here with non-helper) that I could just bang my head against a wall just for the entertainment.

    Gotta go. I have the imfamous Hopper running loose in a part of the house & have to check on the old chap.

    miu...I'll take a large coffee to go. Thanks in advance.
