Poor George, I think his dignity is bruised

(9 posts)
  1. I was just sitting in the oversized chair and had the paper spread out on the footstool; George jumped up on the footstool and started to come over to the chair, but because of the paper he couldn't see the space between the footstool and the chair, and he fell right into the gap! Headfirst!

Poor baby :) But now he's sitting with Mr. K and getting head scritches, so all is well.

  4. He's fine, nothing damaged but his dignity. But he sure didn't want to come up on the chair with me after that. Maybe later, or tomorrow.

  5. Oh no, poor George. When that would happen with my kitty I would make a point of blaming the "stupid" object, paper, whatever and express huge sympathy. I would often get extra headbonks, purrs and cuddles.

  6. There's no funnier sight than a cat with bruised dignity...Titch used to fall asleep on the back of the sofa, stretch, roll and...fall down the back!!! :oD

  7. Aw, Georgie - I can't even tell you how many times Windi has done that very thing on Sunday morning. She always looks around like "Well, I meant to do that, actually". We just always go along with that....

  9. Poor boy George! It was that stupid newspaper's fault, you have every right to shred it.
