CM, just a thought but send Wayne to the doctor's and see what she has to say. Ok I couldn't have done that and actually relied on what my husband's interpetation would have been on the doctor's opinion but it could work, lol. All kidding aside, hope its just something little and not much to worry about.

CM, your stew sounds yummy. I made a pot roast on Sunday that was deeeelish. I crave warm hearty dishes like that when the weather turns cold like this.

GD, this is Nora's week for the avatar. She loves to sleep with a paw over her face, and it is so cute so I took some pictures. I had no idea that she was glaring at me with one eye until later when I looked at the pictures... LOL

Awwwww Nora!!
Just discovered a scratch just below Mi's eye that had been bleeding a bit. I flushed it out with kitty eye drops and will keep an eye on it. I have no doubt it's from a fight with Bobby. I keep his front claws trimmed, but I guess I'll have to keep the back ones trimmed as well. I just trimmed them and now I'm in BIG trouble!
Mi is feeling a bit sorry for himself. I'm going to trim all his claws as well, but I'll give him a few minutes. -
Okay...MIL is coming over to watch Maddie before my appt. It's not till 3:10 but I have to leave here about 2:45ish...

I am playing the what if game and I should know that my OBGYN is very cautious and that due to my difficult pregnancy with Maddie and my "advanced" age she is just watching me. I love comfort food dishes too when it gets chilly out. There is something so satisfying about warm, yummy food and it's cold out. I love pot roast too. I make the one like FH did the other night. Slow cooker, mccormick seasoning and potatoes..YUM!

I worked at a humongous garage sale Friday, Saturday and Sunday that is a fund raiser for Meals On Wheels. Sunday night I just knew that I had a bug of some sort and it got worse in the night. Yesterday I got up with a raging case of th flu. :-( It's so bad that I couldn't even go to the gym. Actually, yesterday I couldn't even get up. I hate this!!! Mr. WWM has been a most attentive nurse.
CM, try not to worry too much until you talk to the doctor. Better that they are watching you closely than to overlook a potential problem. I know it's easy to say, and hard to do.

cm -let the doctor do the worrying! until you know something just leave it in their hands! i passed a kidney stone during my first pregnancy - thought i was in labor and found out otherwise - i was only 7 months at the time and and it passed pretty quickly - but still! (((hugs and prayers)))! i know easier said than done but relax.
richard and i are going to get some pictures of buddy and leela this week - richard wanted to submit them for tdk but i had to tell him they were too old! he got kinda mad about it! lol! when we get them ready, i will try to put them up as my avatar.Posted 3 years ago by KarenCentennial #

Love the changing of the weather to coolness, even though it doesn't change as much here in AZ it does still get very chilly @ night. Nothing to hold the heat in during the dark hours. CM, glad to see that your MIL will watch the Princess while you go see the doctor.

we had a lot of thunder and lightning and heavy rain last night - leela just looked up when i went out to the garage to see how they were handling it and then she went back to sleep - no big deal to her, but buddy kept going from 1 door to the other and so i opened the door to the front porch so he could see and he didn't like the rain! it was a really cold rain and he didn't want anything to do with it. leela isn't interested in going outside at all but buddy wants to run in the leaves, and just maybe he will let me put the harness on again in a few days when it's supposed to warm up - i tell him he won't be going outside unless it's with the harness and he seems to look as if he's considering it! it will be funny if he ever goes out in the snow!

yes, it does seem like richard is coming around - he does like cats, he just never really had one around when he was younger so he doesn't know what joy they can bring! his mom would never let the cat that they had in the house, she was a rn and didn't want to deal with the mess that they made, i guess. i love her dearly but you would have thought that kids and pets weren't welcome in her house if you saw it - i always felt ( and still do) uncomfortable in her house because it was white glove clean! she must have been sick when she found out richard wanted to marry me and then of course i'm not a clean house freak so i just didn't fit in. doesn't matter to me as long as richard loves me....
