  1. Holy Cow...can't wake up today *yawn*
Lights on, buffet is full, coffee, tea and juices ready..kitties fed and ready to snuggle or play.

How is everyone this Wednesday? I am a bit slow this morning, was up at 3 and didn't get back to sleep till after 4:30 so I feel a little hazy, but then again, that's my normal state of mind. lol

  2. Hark, I hear a 2 year old up...I shall return, help yourself to the buffet

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  3. Hey, CM! Wake up! Here's a {{hug}} to get you going? (Okay, I've done my duty for the day...can I go back to bed now?)
It's cold and rainy here today, so I need a hot French vanilla capaccino. And, of course, a couple of cuddly kittens would help.

  4. Thanks LK! That hug helped :)
*hands LK hot cappachino and 3 kitteh's, one tabby, one moo kitty and one ragdoll*
You have my permission to go back to bed too :)

  5. Hi CM & LK! *yawn* Leela wanted me to stay and play with her; alas, I have to work to make money to buy cat food.

Posted 3 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

  6. Hi Joan! Awww Leela..She doesn't understand you have to keep her in the style she as become accustomed to. lol

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  7. How true! My Mom says it looks like there's a toddler in the house; Leela's toys are all over the place! I don't think she has a lot, but when she digs into her basket of toys and spreads them all over, it does look that way. I could swear she was having a tea party or a business meeting when she surrounds herself with her friends - Larry, Fred(the fish), the little bear (forgot what we named that)...

  8. LOL at Leela!! A business meeting for sure. She is the CEO of the household :)

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  9. Oh, Leela, what fun you are! Joan, you're lucky to have a little one who has a great imagination.

  10. *peeks at the door*
Is there any coffee left? Where are the fuzzbutts?

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  11. Hi CM, LK, Joan and Miu!! Joan, Leela and Huddy must be related - I was 10 minutes late getting out of bed because he had to stay and march on mama's shoulders - lol. ((Leela))

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  12. I believe you're right CM! I must buy cat food today. We are down to the emergency stash (good thing I'm a lifetime Girl Scout).
Hi HM - of course they're related, part of the TDK family! I love Huddy and I feel like I know him. Leela likes to walk on my back when the alarm goes off.

  13. Hi Miu! A fuzzbutt just skitted by me. *catches bundle of fur and hands to Miu*

Posted 3 years ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

  14. Thanks, Joan! *drinks coffee and snorgles the fuzzie*
    Life is good again!

  15. Hi HM and Miu!!!
I just had to throw in some laundry then do the dishes then get myself dressed now I have to see if Maddie will let me get her dressed.

Fred is my alarm clock for sure. It's not that he wants to cuddle, he wants FED. Poor boy is wasting away. If I don't feed him, he might get under 20lbs...

  16. Hee, CM, George does the same thing in the morning. I can just imagine what he's saying:

"Feed me, I'm *starving*. Nobody ever *feeds* me around here"

This when he has plenty of dry food in his dish, he just wants his wet food treat. Silly kitty.

I was good today and got myself up and out to the gym, which is getting harder as the weather gets colder. I've brought a cinnamon coffee cake for the buffet, and will help myself to coffee.

    Happy Wednesday, all.

  17. Hi Kilroy! Thanks for the cake, I think I will have a piece, that sounds so good.
I think George and Fred call each other on the phone and compare notes :)
Kudos to you for getting out to the gym, I wish I had that drive. I am too lazy :(

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  18. *Kilroy pictures herself trying to keep up with a 2 year old, and fails miserably. She then goes back and reads CM's description of her morning so far*

    You are NOT lazy, CM!

Posted 3 years ago by Kilroy #

  19. {{Fred}}
Nora completely understands. How dare the food bowl be empty?

How many of us have stopped on the way home just to buy cat food because we don't dare walk in the door without it? (raises hand)

  20. Hi Kilroy! Mmmmm, cinnamon coffee cake, drool..
All the cats who have owned me, up to whenever Shaddo or Jiggs needed meds 2x a day with food, ate canned food at dinnertime only. When Leela barged into our lives, I fed her a few times a day, a bit at a time, since she was just a baby. I was hoping to wean her off morning food, but she does sort of expect it. (She gets unlimited water and crunchies.) However, she doesn't seem to know that when her humans get up, she's supposed to get them to feed her right away, i.e., howling, singing, getting under foot, etc. I just feed her at some point before going to work. I'm expecting this is just a phase, lol!

  21. *hand raised* yep.

  22. ((Kilroy))
My friend gave Maddie some washable markers and she was coloring with the blue one today then looked at me and waved and said hi momma, and I saw both her hands were entirely blue. I have scrubbed them as well as I can without removing skin, but she still has blue hands. I hope they fade..
I think the gym is easier than a 2 year old that's for sure!

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  23. *raises hand*
My kits get fed 2x a day with canned. Not to mention they have crunchies all day to munch on.
Fred really expects the canned food..Cricket likes it but she is just as happy with the hard food.

  24. Good Morning, everyone! I had trouble waking up this morning, too. I think it's a delayed reaction to having given birth 21 years ago today to my youngest - the college kid! I guess I just don't want to face the world today and tried to sleep in, but it didn't work.
CM - the years go so fast - i think i had more fun when my boys were little so enjoy Maddie and (fishie)Abbie while you can! They are so much fun now than they will be when they are in the late teens/young adults!
I need real caffeine this morning so i'll be back in a little while - got to go and get some!

  25. Morning Karen! Happy Birthday to your son!!!
The last 2 years have flown by with Maddie, and I can't believe that she is a little girl now, a little person. It's amazing. I don't want to even think about the teen years yet..those scare me. lol

  26. Awww Deb...Ducky Butts :)

  27. Hi CM, LK, Joan, Miu, Kcent, Killroy and HM !! Hope I didn't leave anyone out.
Getting read for another road trip, see son and family in Macomb MI. Leave 4am tomorrow back next Wed. I am going to miss y'all. Probably will turn into a prune w/o my daily TDK fix! *Sigh* I think I need a cuppa chocolate to make it thru the day! See y'all later.

Posted 3 years ago by SammyandOliversmama #

  28. Hi SOM!!! Road Trip!!!! How fun. Sammy and Oliver are going to miss you! Just be safe driving. If you detour into Cleveland, give me a shout :)
