    I know - when they become little people and you can see the thought process! It really is funny the way their little minds work and you see how they figure things out - it still is funny when they are in their 20's! The college kid owes us some money and when he paid some back in August before he went back to campus, he told us what we could and couldn't spend it on! That was a lot of fun watching him figure out that he said the wrong thing - as if the money was his, still! I told him when you borrow money from someone they have the right to put conditions on the use, but when you pay them back you don't have that right!

    Kilroy, I have to confess, after I tried to clean off her hands, I also got her dressed and dressed her in a blue shirt and pants, I was hoping her hands will just blend in...lol

    Morning all!, Just popping in for a cuppa joe. I am working on grant applications today and need a shot of caffeine! My thing went well yesterday but it had me out late and I am draggy today. I am hoping to take Friday off and catch up on cleaning my house. My brother and Sister-in-law are coming in Friday evening and right now it is a wreck!!! ACK!

    More coffee!!!!!

    CM, that is so cool that Maddie is starting to talk to you and becoming a little person and not just your baby. She will grow up to be a cool little person and a great big sister! I was out all yesterday afternoon. What did the doctor say?

    Hi WWM and Kykat!!
    Being sick is miserable WWM and to be it's worth 30 seconds or less of a shot than being sick. Hubby never has had a flu shot either and he got really really sick last season and I told him, he needs to think of Maddie now(this was before I was pregnant) he just can't bring home these viruses etc. I got mine, Maddie got hers and now it's his turn. He said he will get one since I am preggers, Maddie and he never wants to be that sick again! I hope you feel better soon honey!!

    Kykat, you are one of the busiest people I know. I hope you can take Friday off! It would be nice for you.

    The doctor just wanted to see if I was dilated which I wasn't and she said that she now wants to see me every week to be on the safe side. I will be 28 weeks on Saturday so I will also start getting the non stress tests every week. Whoo hoo! :) I have to just watch for certain things and be a bit careful

    Love those cute-overload 'Toktober pictures!

    Have been outside reading the paper while outside kitty was in my lap, he is trying his damnedest (is that a word even) to convince me to bring him inside. Even the inside crew sits there meowing to him, they have whole conversations. Plus they have been waking me up only to run to the patio door and meow which brings him out of wherever he is sleeping. Its a plot I tell ya.

    Good morning..or should I say good afternoon. I went for my annual physical at the doctors this morning. I am okay except I need to lose weight..nothing new. Need to go get the usual lab tests done. Problem is they are only open Mon-Fri from 8-5 so that means taking more time off. Not something I am going to do what with my job situation be so precarious.

    I have a meeting with the Senior Director at 1pm (in an hour) to discuss my situation as well as some questions I have. I hope to put my best foot forward in the meeting so that he will want to keep me on as part of the department. Of course, the final decision will be made by 10/31.

    Leela sounds like lots of fun Joan. Love the visual of Miss Maddie Blue Hands, CM!

    Sorry you are so sick WWM. Back to bed, young lady! Okay off to get the lunch for the new hire training.
