Raining here in Fla. but the "Rays" won last night, so all is good! Abbs is curled up alseep in her "office bed", she has one in my office and one in my bedroom so she can nap near by, depending on where I am. I was thinking yesturday - wouldn't it be fun to have a kitty Halloween costume contest? Whoever wants to could submit pictures, then we could all vote on the cutest! What are the thoughts on this out there?!!

I didn't go to the house yesterday but they installed the doors and windows go in today. I think they painted yesterday too, now that there's heat in the house! Coffee and an orange kitten, please. GD, I hope you feel better soon - it seems like a lot of viruses have been going around lately. Joan, I hope everything gets done soon for you! I'm starting to go into "home renovation mode" myself (always do this time of year) but I do things in small stages. I certainly hope we can see pictures of your finished product.
As for Halloween costumes, I shudder to think what the girls would do to me if I tried to dress them up.

Hi NNGM & Kilroy! I'll keep you posted on Leela's take on the move home. She's going to the spa on Monday so I don't know how much running around she will do, but you never know. She's such a spitfire!
GD, blame it on the last person to hand you money. As wonderful as it is, you know there's tons of germs on money. When I worked in attendance at a school, the kid would come from the nurse's office to wait for the ride home, cough into his/her hand, which held the nurse's pass, and hand the pass to me. Joan, you are so right about money too!! When I was a bank teller, I was sick all the time. Sometimes, people would hand me money from their pocket and it was damp or wet...I didn't even want to know what that was from. It was so disgusting! Not to mention they sneeze and cough at the window..yeah, big germ fest.

Well, I sure do handle enough money at the register at the gym. Joan, soI'll blame them. I knew it was the darn gym!!!
By the way, DQ just informed me yesterday that we're changing my hours effective Monday - from on average 36.5 to 17.5 a week!!!! I think she's trying to get me to quit as there is no way I can live on that, but I'll take the hours while I set something up myself and get the tennis accessory business up and running.I'm off to meet two rained-out friends for a cup of coffee. I'll be back later!

I had a nice time at coffee with my friends.
I wanted to get fewer hours at the gym, but not this few and I'm a bit worried about being able to make enough. It will be better for the tennis business that I have a bit more time and at least I'll still be making a bit of money at the gym - for now.I'm off to go take a nap for a little while. I took Ny-Quil last night and then the boys were bad and kept waking me up so I'm still feeling pretty groggy. Hopefully a nap will help.

Joan, I hope they finish up so you can be in by next Friday. Your Leela sounds like such a little spitfire kitty. Always entertaining too. Scritchies to her. Good luck at the spa, Leela.
GD, that is rough that you are sick and also that the gym is reducing your hours in half. I hope the tennis sales works so well you can do it full time and soon.
So I submitted my list of daily duties as well as suggestions to what I can be doing to the Senior Manager. Hope she can put in a good word. D-day next Friday. Today is payday and unfortunately have to pay rent by next Sat. Oh well. Mickey D's again this morning as I am really dragging. Went out to meet a friend for iced tea (it was 75 again last night around 8pm) and didn't get to bed till almost 1am! Eeek! So I am majorly dragging. Will be sleeping in tomorrow, hopefully.
