  3. Yup, the bags can be reversible.

That was actually the fabric I was going to suggest if I couldn't find one in a store! I thought it was perfect since it has red and blue in it. Do you want to go ahead and order some of that?

  4. Let me run it by our team mom. How long do you think it would take to do each one? We have 15 girls. At minimum I will get 2.

  5. When do you need them by? On average, each bag takes 3-4 hours depending on how many pockets it has. I usually sell them for $40, but if you're going to get a lot I can probably charge you $25-30 each.

  6. jymberry..........This is merely a FYI on what one of the "bag ladies" in our area is doing. She is very upscale with product, quality, and originality. Thought you would enjoy looking at the site, and maybe think about expanding into other areas. Wine bags, etc.

  7. Jymberry, just a thought but to personalise bags, you could make 'icons' of felt maybe and sew them on -- eg, a football, a flower, a cat, a lipstick, overstitched in different colours for the detail, in plain navy blue or red. (You would add a small charge for the extra work...)

  8. I showed the fabric and bag to my daughter and she loves the idea. The soccer ball pattern, with solid red on the inside. So definately 3. Let me see how the team mom thinks, it could go up to 15+. Are you up for that?

  9. It depends on when you need them by, but I could probably do that for you. When you figure how many you need, you'll probably need about a 1-1.5 yards of each fabric, for each bag. If you want the fabric from the website you showed me, I can email you my address and you can order the fabric, and send it to my apartment.

  11. The Small Business Administration (SBA) has a ton of useful information. I took a class in starting my own business this past spring. We talked a lot about marketing and getting your product noticed. Have a few bags with you or in your car at all times. When someone comments about your bag tell them you have some for sale and you would be happy to show them. This time of year there are craftfairs everywhere, you and a friend could share a booth to keep costs down. Be postive and excited about your wonderful bags and tell everyone about them.
