  3. I can so relate to their plight. When David and I moved into a larger apt back in July of 2006 I called comcast 3 weeks before our move and scheduled for them to transfer my service to the new address, only two buildings over from where we were presently living. We already had service in the apt. we were currently in and I had just started school the December before. I told the customer service rep that it was imperative that everything be working in the new place as soon as we moved in, particularly the internet, due to school being online. The tech came the day that was scheduled, spent the entire day hooking everything up, but couldn't get the wireless to work. He left without getting my internet hooked up. It took them 10 DAYS, numerous calls to the local office and the home office in CANADA before someone else came out to see what the problem was with the wireless. I never did get wireless hookup in that apt., we had to use an ethernet connection. David was so furious at comcast that he was ready to go to the local office, hold everyone hostage until they got our wireless hooked up and working, or he wanted to burn down the building! I can fully understand now why people do some of the things that they do when it comes to businesses like comcast, and such.

  4. comcast is a horrible company if you need coust service. I worked all of a month for them as a phone rep (yes I would much rather be a med tech and stick babys with needles than talk to angry people on the phone) They give thier staff minimal training and the software they use is not very good. I would never use comcast as a service provider

  5. Comcast wasn't so bad. C'mon, people. I was having problems getting a pay-per-view movie to play after purchasing it. It was after midnight and I called directly up to Comcast customer service right here in Atlanta and got the recording that my wait time was only 4+ hours. And they answered in only 2 hours and 45 minutes! And kindly canceled my charge for the movie I didn't get.
