   Could you say a little prayer for my Tom today? In trying to find out why he is retaining so much fluid in his abdomen (ascites), they discovered another possible blockage in one of his coronary arteries and he has to go in for a heart cath and possible stent placement. He has 5 stents already and had a quad bypass about 3 years ago. I just feel so bad for him--he has been through so much with this whole liver thing (which still has the doctors confused--they know there is cirrhosis but the blood tests show normal function and they can't figure out why there is so much ascites). On top of it all, we are getting married on Saturday and he is worried that he is going to feel bad. If you could add him to your prayers today in whatever way, I would appreciate it and so would he.

    Thank you everyone. I just got home from the hospital. The cardiologist wouldn't do the cath with all of the fluid there, so he has to spend the night and have a paracentisis tonight and hopefully the cath tomorrow. His spirits are pretty good, all things considered. He is so worried about the wedding, but I keep telling him not to be. One way or another, we will be married. I know the prayers are working, otherwise he would be VERY GRUMPY!!
