  4. I was up at about 4:30 eastern time this morning and was outside having a smoke. I hadn't even read about the meteor showers till now (12:01 eastern) but I'm positive I saw a couple of the meteors.

  5. I went out about 4 a.m. -- and our skies are really dark here in the mountains from lack of city lights --- but sadly I saw nothing but the usual constellations. Maybe I was too late. Oh well.
