well i guess i have a super late start! I drug myself out of bed about an hour ago, i never realized just how long it takes me to get my house goig in the mornings..little over an hour to start coffe, cook breakfeast of the kids, feed the kitties(Kree has to have wet and dry mix in the morning along with water out of the faucet)...Pip i am sure will get in to this soon. Then off to get my self dressed for the day..wow doesnt sound like much, but i am ready to go back to bed! hehe

HB, I hear you. I have a 2 year old and I am 7 months pregnant and I am exhausted!!
Miu, I would love to go to bed right now, but I can't while Maddie is up. I asked her if she is ready for a nap and she said No No...I am hanging in there for 2 more hours...till 1pm. Then it's her nap time and mine too today. I have to make lunch in about a half hour or so anyway.
SOM, welcome back. glad you had a nice and safe trip. I bet Sammy and Oliver missed you bunches.
LK, Fishie is always moving that is for sure. the last 2 nights I slept all night except for my bathroom visits, but I had some strange dreams and I felt like I was up all night with them and I think it has caught up with me today.

Hey CW! I only do drink tea...I had 5-6 cups already. I am tea-ed out :)
She is watching her shows now, but trust me that girl doesn't and I mean doesn't sit down. I love her to bits, but she is running around all the time and only stops to sleep. You can tell she is tired to, so nap time should be easy for both of us to do.Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

Oh wise CW. CW, we came through GA yesterday and it is a beautiful state.
Down I-75 from Knoxville to Fla. Had lunch at a beautiful little cafe in Forsythe, GA, I think it was named "Dirty Grits".Posted 3 years ago by SammyandOliversmama #

It's cold here in Fla. too! Low 40's when we woke up, highs to be in the 60's today....burrrrr for us Floridians!!! LOL - Cuddles just got up (it's 11am here) for first time, and it wasn't pretty - she hissed her way down the stairs, I'm not sure what or who's she's hissing at; probably herself because the cold is making her arthritis act up. She puts her front paws down a step, then swings both back legs down together, then repeats. Looks like she's going down sideways. I'm thinking .... a little too much Irish whiskey at the wedding...

CM, i know how that feels, my boys are 15 and a half months apart. my oldest just turned 2 on the 21st and my baby boy is 8 and a half months.

HB, Maddie turned 2 on the 19th...seems our oldest kids almost have the same birthdays :)
15 1/2 months apart...OMG how do you do it. I can't even imagine how it will be like. Maddie will be 26-27 months apart when the baby is born. All I can think about is I am going to be soooooo tired.Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

Hi all!
I'm late checking in today; had a dentist appt this morning (yuck) and feel like I'm running way behind.
Definitely autumn weather here in NYC, rainy and brrrrrr.
George is being a good boy, he hasn't bitten me in a long time. He chased me a little bit when I got up last night, but stopped without actually trying to bite me. He was just wide awake and wanted to play (silly kitty, at 3am).
The wedding yesterday was lovely, wasn't it? And now we have another one to plan - congratulations, Cricket!

Mornin' Kilroy.
CM, it was trying to say the least...i was tired all the time, hubby worked long and extra hours so we could be ok with our move..i had a bit of help from my sister..whos kids are 17 months apart...that helped a ton. Hubby is already asking about another =x....sometime si think he is trying to turn my lady parts in to a baby cannon!

"baby cannon"....ROFLOL!
My oldest sons are almost 14 months apart...that made it difficult in some ways and easier in others. When I changed one diaper, I changed both. When one was in the tub, so was the other. I fed them at the same time. They played together a lot so it actually freed me up somewhat. My youngest one was actually more work because he expected me to entertain him since he did not have a close sibling to play with.
-
baby cannon! That's funny.
this is our last one...mommy is getting tubes tied! I will be 40 in December and we are done!
It will be a challenge for sure. We will get through it somehow I hope.Hi Kilroy!!! yea for you and George..you are making such strides with him. ((George))((Kilroy))

kind of how mine are CW. My oldest likes to "help" with everything..it is very cute and now that he knows what things are, he will get my diapers and the such..I am having a really hard time with potty training though..so i have just let it go for now.

agh...don't even talk about potty training. Maddie shows no interest. Her dr said to wait till after the baby is here, and there is calm in the house since it will be a big change for her too. So I plan to do it next year sometime. I dread it. I have tried with her and it's a no go yet.

Bryce loves to go sit on the potty, and he will go on the potty, we laughed and clap and he loves it! BUt i just dont think he is quite ready to tell me when he needs to go yet..so i put him on it before bath time, or whatever and he uses it..he will only use the BIG potty though..he will not touch his little boy potty!

Good morning all. It is 48 degrees here this morning and fog so thick that in some places traffic slowed down. I like this weather..kind of mysterious. If we have this on Friday night, will be good for Halloween trick or treaters.
Well, today is cleaning out the storage closet of "swag" items, loading them up and bringing them up to the new closet that is now located back on my floor at work. Then I get to unload. I wore jeans and a polo shirt (they gave me this) to be comfortable and to not care if I get them dirty.
I am having issues with sleeping through the night. I was on a nightly habit of waking up at 4:30 to use the bathroom but now it has changed to 2:30am. I really would love to sleep through the night. I even tried not drinking any liquids past 6pm but unfortunately that didn't work. Any suggestions? I am soooo tired this morning that I hit the snooze button six times. I am sure my alarm going off so much woke up the upstairs neighbors. They keep me up or wake me up with their walking around, making the floor boards creaking and dropping shoes and stuff till as late as midnight. So I see it as a little karma back at them, maybe.
If I still have a job next Monday, I may be in a new cubicle away from the high traffic area. Yay! So here is hoping I still have a job come Friday. If I don't, that will be bittersweet. Oh well.
So may I have a mocha with some baileys and kahlua, please. (Hic)!

hi SMM!
*mocha with baileys and kahlua to SMM*
I wish I knew how to sleep through the night too SMM, I don't think I have in over 2 years. Even when I wasn't pregnant, I seem to be on a ritual of waking up between 2-3:30 every night. Now being pregnant I am up 2-3 times a night for the bathroom. It sucks.Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #
-
Yes, it does suck. I don't feel as rested as I would like to be and am spending way too much money buying mochas at Starbucks to keep awake. I will probably go buy one at lunchtime otherwise I will be wanting to curl up under my desk for a nap by 2pm.
Ooooh two mochas with baileys and kahlua...yummy... hic hic hic! Thank you Miu and CM!

Karin, have you had a blood sugar test done lately? I'm concerned cause what you're describing sounds a lot like the way I found out I had diabetes. Tired all the time and getting up earlier at night to use the bathroom. Have you been extra thirsty?

Just wanted to stop in & say I'm thinking of you all & missing you. Needless to say...the homefront still sucks with non-helper & so I've been too down to visit my TDK friends.
I caught a third raccoon during the night & first thing this morning (7 a.m.) had to relocate it down the street with...of course...non-helper refusing to give me a hand.
I think I'll go lay down & try to nap since I got no sleep again last night. This insomnia is going to kill me.
