  1. I thank you all for your good thoughts and wishes. Cato failed to eat again this morning. I managed to feel him all over and he has been in quite a fight (a first, as I said he usually runs), but nothing big. He let me put my finger in his mouth and looked(he bites). I couldn't see anything unusual. The vet took his temp and there was no temp. So he is keeping him to do a blood panel just in case he has a bladder infection. The vet said his bladder felt empty and it shouldn't feel that way. He has been drinking....as he does all his business outside (unless something dire is happening), I have not been able to observe if he has been peeing normally. I should get him back in a couple of hours. I am worried, though -- at least my boss allowed me to work at home today so I could attend to him :) Elizabeth

  8. Poor Cato. The stress from the election is getting to him. Tell him he simply must eat to keep up his strength for all of us who are writing him in for President! Seriosuly, I hope the vet gets him back on track.

  14. The vet called and said Cato's test for a bladder infection is negative, so he thinks he has an infection from the cat fight. He hydrated him and has given me antibiotics to give in the evening. Cato is home relaxing, although he has not eaten yet. Thanks for your good thoughts! Sincerely, Elizabeth

  20. Teddy has a new rider :), yes I am still riding, but I convinced my trainer that I needed a new twice a week rider for him. She is strong and does not tolerate bucking. I had a lesson this morning and he did not raise his butt for me once and was very in front of my leg. His new rider is going to take him at the Third Level of dressage (flying changes) and I will do my First Level over again this year, hopefully with better scores. Competition season begins in January! Elizabeth
