Happy Halloween!!
Buffet is set up, coffee is hot and kitties are playful!!
Today I get to go see an ultrasound of Fishie at 12:30 and then we are taking Maddie trick or treating. She gets to be a princess this year. I will be taking pictures :) Can you tell I am a proud mommy, or am I one of those irritating moms who show too many pics of their kids?

it starts about 6ish and it's not too dark yet but just enough to have your porch light on. I personally think Halloween, you need the dark :)

For some reason, I always thought they did the Fall back an hour right before Halloween so the little kids would still have some light to go trick or treating. This year it will be too dark in my neck of the woods.

Well, Halloween is over for us for another year. I think I will head off to bed now, feeling a bit weary. Happy Halloween everyone! CM, I hope Maddie enjoys her trick-or-treating, I bet she is a total candy magnet. Hope the ultrasound of Fishie comes out nice and clear too! See you all (my) tomorrow!

Happy Halloween all!! My children are not spending Halloween with us this year (sniff, sniff). Son is off at college, and daughter (senior in HS) is going out with her friends. Hubby and I will probably snuggle with the kitties, our new place doesn't have many kids around, so we'll see who rings the bell tonite! Maybe 'll rent a scary movie and make gourmet burgers!!

We didn't have kids a lot of years and now there seems to be a kid explosion in our neigborhood :) Now we have a 2 year old so we will be out with her.
Dorie, that's okay...I couldn't fit my expanding baby belly behind the chair anyway...lol

I will be home tonight and today as I have been really sick all week! It started last Saturday with a sore throat, Sunday I felt better. Monday morning I woke up with a cough but, went to work anyway. I came home from work early as I had a bad head ache, Tuesday I stayed home and Tuesday night I started running a fever and aching all over! Wednesday I got up and was coughing and headache and ear ache! I went to the doctor! I have a sinus infection with an ear infection and URI/ bronchitis/ Pneumonia. Yesterday I was sick spent the day on the couch with Lady dog sleeping off and on all day! I feel a little better today the Antibiotics are starting to work. The doctor put me out of work till Monday so I'm spending the day just chilling and getting better! This kicked my butt!!

Oh Dorie! I hope you feel better soon. I am glad the dr made you stay home till Monday, you need to rest and get your body back to normal.

Thanks CM! I Have to go to the drug store and pick up the rest of my Cough meds as they didn't have the full amount the doctor ordered and it helps soo much!
Thanks for the hug! Also good luck at the Doctors. Maybe you can post a picture of Fishie(Poor kids going to be stuck with that nickname thanks MIU!!)
I hope Maddie has a great Halloween! I'm invited to a party tonight nextdoor but i'm not going as I can't drink and i'm still sick! I'm just hoping my youngest can get a ride home tonight!

Fishie is kicking the heck out of me this morning! She is an active little bugger. Maddie is not feeling to well right now so I am keeping my eye on her. She doesn't want to eat and she threw up a little bit..more like a spit up but she's not herself. I hope she is okay for tonight. Wayne is home today too so that helps.

CM - I hope you ultrasound goes well today. I can't wait to see pics of Maddie in her princess costume! Has she seen it yet? Is she excited, or is she not quite clear yet on what Halloween is all about? ;-)
Dorie - So sorry to hear that you have been so ill! That is no fun at all. Thank goodness the doctor has signed you off work. Get yourself a nice Bailey's coffee, curl up on the sofa with a warm blanket and a kitty or two, and chill! :-)
I wish Halloween was celebrated more here in the UK. I really miss the decorations and everything. We used to have one little girl come around for trick or treat, but she is too old now. There are a very few children in our immediate neighborhood, but they have not come round in the past, so I doubt they'll be out this year. We will probably be out for our usual Friday night curry anyway. I'm tempted to wear a pair of kitty ears or something, but somehow I suspect Mr Rubia would not be amused! ;-) I do have a pair of skeleton earings that I got at the Ann Rice giftshop in New Orleans that I think I will wear though.

I agree, dinner over AV's tonight :)
Maddie doesn't really understand yet, I tell her about it and what we are planning to do and she gets excited but I don't know if she "gets" it. However the way she feels now, I don't know what will happen.
Wear the kitty ears Rubia, you would be precious!!
