Hi mr renee here
I thought I would check in and lurk for awhile kind of early here. about the time my alarm would normaly get me up for work. I didn't use one this morning.
the one i put on her computer is off to.did she ever mention it.i had found one that uses the micrsoft character named LINKS a cute little cat that would
pop up at the set time and say -get up please-then it would lick it's , paws, stretch and then curl up and go to sleep. it also played a song if you set it that way.or it could really speack out loud if you had the right software she really liked it. i use to surf the net for stuff to amuse her with.some she liked and sometimes she acted like i just found stuff to torment her with. i found one i thought would be really useful as it could be set with multiply time zones .i always used it on mine first to make sure it behaved alright .it was set with ours ,her aunt's in califonia, and marina's in spain all shown at the same time .it was easy to set up but she decided that she
didn't need it so i never put it on hers well i guess i have ambled on long enough i sure miss my girlPosted 3 years ago by Renee in Arkansas #

Hi, Mr Renee, it's Jcat here in NZ. That sounds like a great, cute little alarm, I don't think Cindy mentioned it while I've been on here but I've only been posting for several months. It does get addictive though. I'm sure she appreciated your searching the net for her because that's often what she did for us -- or maybe it was the things you found for her that she really liked that she often posted here.
Funny you should mention about time zones because I just set up the World Clock again on my computer. It really helps to work out when you can expect people to be posting.
We miss her too. How are you doing today?

Hey Ron, Hey Jcat!
So of course per usual I forgot to set my clocks back, so up an hour earlier than my normal early hour! (Thanks to Buster..didn't anyone tell the cats that we could get an extra hour's sleep??)
I hope you're both doing well this morning/evening!..got my coffee and off to get the Sunday papers..It's Marathon Day here in NYC..heading off to Central Park to cheer on a few friends! -
Hi, Sullis, I bet you're not the only one who's forgotten! I thought maybe no one was posting because they were having a lazy Sunday morning; I'd forgotten too that it was the end of daylight saving where you are. I would so love to visit New York some time! Have fun at the marathon!
-
We'd love to have you here! And, you know, the way the NZ dollar is diving, it's getting cheaper every day... Well, if I ever win Lotto, the first thing I'm going to do is plan a big trip and NYC will definitely be part of it! I can't wait to see your museums and art galleries and shops and ... well, just everything.
It's great that you have a nice day for the Marathon. Have you never been tempted to run yourself? (I don't do running, I only do walking!)
