Well, New York just seems like the ultimate 'big city' from here, from books and TV and the movies and everything. I've lived in London and Paris and loved them both but New York is kind of the Mecca, I just have to get there one day! The brother of one of my good friends lives there and they all adore it!

i read about clicking on the aviter to look at pictures and tried it on my wife's picture of chrissy but i got nothing did she not have any posted or doesn't it work on your own.i let gigit out while i fed the other 12 or more

Renee must not have had a catster page for Chrissy. That is what you see when you click on our avitar pictures. It takes you to the person's catster page.
Many of us on here have kitties on catster. I will have to admit this is verrrrry addicting! :) When you click on my avitar it goes to my catster "Family Page". There you will see my 3 kitties and then from there you can go to their pages.Posted 3 years ago by SammyandOliversmama #

That's understandable, Ron, I hope she can come, it's good to have family around you.
I think the avatar thing only works if you have a Catster page for one or more of your cats. Do you know if Cindy put up a Catster page? Wow, so do you have more than 12 cats? My goodness!
The pictures of Cindy sound lovely. Being covered in cats would make me happy too! She really loved her babies, didn't she?

Hi Jcat and Ron. I don't think Renee did have a catster page or if she did, she didn't link it to TDK profile. I bet that picture of her covered in cats is so precious. I am so glad you have that. She did love her babies.

I'm glad they like NYC! There's good and bad, like with everything..I almost can't see "the forest for the trees" cuz I've lived here my whole life, so don't know any different..It's very fast; people tend to be impatient, (but not outright rude, at least in my experience!) and it's just very convenient..in terms of subways, shops, museums and the like...I must admit, I am not the most cultured person; only been to museums a handful of times; and mostly when I'm taking friends/relatives sightseeing! But always been my home, so I love it! I've visited London several times, Tokyo, and lived in Paris for 5 short weeks...loved them all!
And Ron, that pic must've been hard to see...but she was so happy in you and the furbabies..so hold onto that my friend.. -
Well, Johnny (my friends' brother) loves it so much he's never come home! Mind you, he did fall in love with a NY girl so go figure... I bet you've basically got the whole world right there in one city!
Ron, you could always tell from Cindy's postings how happy she was. It was infectious!

idon't know about catster i didn't bother her much when she was enjoying her self on here unless asked to
no i have never been to new york close when the company sent me to toronto for a month. that was the only time i ever was away from cindy .had a $300.phone bill . would have been more if i had known the company was paying
i think i have the world clock too but the time zone one by galleon is a digital one that once you pick out your zones you can name them after the people there and choose what color the name and numbers are .you can click on a corner and drag it to make it any size you want .24 hour format only though
yea we got many cats .i can only name afew. every one seem to think a like
we have a gigit,she is the only one that really cares for my company,then
jon tom,cuddles ,elly ,chrissy, tigger ,tiger, cheatta ,louie, missey, bitsy ,
miss kitty ,maggy ,mindy,maybe a theo, and sometimes afriend or 2 might show up .some im not sure of. cindy could keep up with them all but some i couldn't

Ohmigosh, Ron, you have your hands full with that many! I bet it's like feeding time at the zoo, lol. I'm with Cindy, I love the kittens too but sadly, there aren't enough good homes for all of them as it is!

No, she didn't tell us about holding a lion cub, how could she not tell us about that? Oh my goodness, what a wonderful experience! (Well, she may have told some of her friends she emailed but I don't think I've seen it on any of the TDK threads). Oh please, we would love to see pix of that, if you felt like posting them! I can just imagine that cub would be like any other kitten with Cindy.

Ron, I would just love to see that picture of Cindy covered with kitties! Do you think that you could post it? I'm one of the least technically savvy people here but some of the others could tell you how to do it. You could post it on Flickr, and it doesn't cost anything to open an account there.
I have laughed at Cindy's descriptions of feeding your crew. I know that you have your hands full caring for all of them. But right now maybe it's a very good therapy for you to have that to do.
I'm so sorry that Cindy never did open a catster page, which is why you didn't see anything when you click on Chrissy's avatar. But that's something that you could do and you can post pictures there, too. Even I figured out catster so it's not too hard! We'll help you!
The clock sounds so sweet - I know that she must have loved that. Yes, I know that you miss your girl so terribly. I'm glad that you come to visit with us some.

Ron is truly a pleasure hearing your stories of Cindy, and about you and Loretta. I am envious that you can remember all the kitties' names, Cindy had said there was up to 25 of them. I only have 5 and one outside patio kitty and sometimes I mix them up, lol. The picture of Cindy and the lion cub that you gave to KW was very nice, thank you for sharing that.

I just looked at the pictures KittenMaster posted of Renee. I love the one of her with the lion cub. I really liked all of them - your Cindy looked as happy in the pictures as she always seemed here with us.
