Earlier this week I mentioned Bubby the 16 years old kitty that passed on. Rose his companion posted a beautiful poem Animals Matter on Bubby's Memorial page written by her priest Fr. Dean Borgmeyer, WV.
I was asking her about him and she related a short story of how he comforted her when one of her other cats died. I thought it was so special I wanted to share it with any of you who may be grieving the loss of a cat. 2PB if you are still on, please pass this along to your sister.

Thoughtful things came from Fr. Dean. Once when C.J. was critical, he sent an e-mail to me. C.J. is the one he wrote Animals Matter for. His e-mail said when the time comes, God will let C.J. sit on His lap in Heaven. Since cats have a reported 9 lives...the 10th life is the best.
