  1. The Bee Gees and the Beach Boys, yay, they were a big part of my youth (well, the Beach Boys were a bit before my time but I rediscovered them as a teenager). Love those harmonies!

  2. Ron and Loretta, I'm one of the TDKers not around on the weekend, so sorry for the delay in my reply..I know everyone else has said this also, but we sure hope both of you come here whenever you can or feel up to it. TDK is a family!!

  3. hi everyone
thought i would check in .Dr.agred that i didn't need to be working right now
we picked out a stone but hadn't made final decision on layout yet.my first thoughts was a kitten engraved on it , then i rememebered a picture of 2 cats with entrined tails . the tails could form a heart for our wedding date or maybe 2 cats touching noses her mother likes the ideals. i don't want to get to carried away all though i think Cindy would have liked it.She would have been good at designing this sort of thing If anybody has any suggestions in design or maybe a picture, i would be interested.
i have been going through some stuff, maybe address or email or notes of tdk ,all hand written and hard to read. I could try scanning it and send it to someone after letting her mother have alook .they both tended to save cards and things
well the horde has been circling the house tring to make me fell guilty i guess
better get to it and other stuff

  4. Hi,, Ron - I hope that you're eating and not just feeding the horde. I think that I have seen the design with the kitty tails intertwined. It's lovely. I know these decisions are so hard for you. Take your time because you are under so much stress right now.

I'm so glad that you are checking in with us.

  5. Ron, I think your doctor is very sensible; you need to be taking care of yourself right now.

I wish I could help with ideas for a kitty for Cindy's headstone, but I'm not artistic at all. Lots of TDKers are, though, and I'll bet you'll get lots of offers of help.

I haven't been on line in a few days but I was thinking of Cindy on Friday. I'm glad to see you posting; her TDK family feels the loss so much. Her avatar is one of my favorites. I remember telling my hubby a couple of years ago that if we get to the Arkansas area, I HAVE to look up Renee. Someday we will meet, friend.

  7. Ron, I love the idea of the kitties with the tails that form a heart, I know just which one your talking about and I believe Cindy would have loved that. I'm glad you're taking some time off of work, you need time. Thank you for keeping this part of family informed, we want to know how you and Loretta are doing and if there is anything we can do to help.

  10. Good morning Ron. I think your Dr is very wise to suggest that you give yourself some time off.
I'm not sure if this photo would be useful, but it was so cute, I had to post. You could use the idea of more than two kitties with tails in the shape of a heart behind them.

Ron and Loretta, I don't know what else I can say that hasn't already been said, but **hugs** to both of you. Let those kitties (the horde, lol) comfort you during this rough time. My thoughts/prayers are with you both!

  13. Ron, I'm still looking for that picture, it's a little different than the one Tigerlilly posted..the one I was thinking about is a silloette of two kitties from behind with the tails in the shape of a heart!!

  15. Good Day Ron,
I hope this finds you and the hoarde doing as well as possible today. I am an artist and I made a piece in honor of Cindy after I heard of her passing. It is a deep shadow box with a lot of color. I have titled it "The Cindy Shrine". I will try to post a photo of it. Or I could send it to you directly.
Take care and please know that you are in my prayers and thoughts as well as Loretta.
