  4. We didn't have rain, but only six trick-or-treaters came by. They were pretty cute in their costumes. :)

  6. Hi peeps! Nobody at my door. :(

  7. I belong to a club though and we had a Halloween party on Friday. No masks but lots of candies and pumpkin pie.

  8. I had five and two of those I chased across the street to give them to them. If I hadn't known the first 3 were coming I wouldn't have even turned the porch light on. I have been OD'ing on sugar. LOL

  9. No one at mine either, oh well. Evening folks, on my way out the door to a pop opera called Lost, first one I have ever been too so hope its good. And as a reminder to most in the U.S. and those with loved ones here, tonight is Daylight Savings time (fall back one hour) for the majority of the states.... http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/20081031/sc_livescience/daylightsavingtimewhydidwedoit

Be back later, ciao and enjoy the night :D

  10. Saturday was the All Saints Day here in Finland and in other countries of Europe. It was a day to honour the dead loved ones.

  11. Hi, Deb! Enjoy the show. Can't wait to hear what you think about it! :)

    Hi, Miu and Sandi.

I like the idea of having an All Saints Day to remember loved ones who've passed. We have a growing hispanic population here and I attended a Dia de los Muertos a few years ago. It was a good learning experience.

  12. We've been off watching a movie (Ironman tonight). Netflix is a beautiful thing!

  13. I have heard stories of Dia de los Muertos: children eating sugary sculls and coffins and singing happy songs about the dead.

  14. Well, I'm going to take advantage of that extra hour of sleep. Today was "put the boats to bed" day, so I am very tired anyway. Putting the winter covers on the boats involves lots of up-and-down-the-ladder (it's sort of like extreme stair-stepping!) At least it's not so bad in the fall - in the spring I get to combine the ladder action with extreme waxing. LOL

  15. I mostly read and slept today. I don't feel real sick but totally wiped out from this virus. I hate it

  16. I have Ironman right now too..and from Netflix also, WWM! I haven't watched it yet but I will tonight.

It has been raining off and on and it was coming down really good about an hour ago.

  17. Hi, WWM! Do you 'order' movies from Netflix?

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  18. We do, Miu. I have found movies there that I would never have heard of otherwise. I guess that we get about one a week. It depends on how soon we watch them and then get them back in the mail. I thought that I wouldn't like Ironman but actually it was very entertaining.

  19. Hi Miu and WWM! You can go onto Netflix's website and pick your movies and then they send them to you. It is renting but you can keep them as long as you want.

  20. Well, Robert Downing Jr. is quite nice to look at! :-)

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  21. CTR, try to recover! My crew sends purrs and headbonks!

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  22. I know about those viruses! I still don't feel quite right and cough all night long. Mr. WWM is just crazy about that part!

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  23. We have a sort of similar movie rental system but I haven't used it. Hmmm...

Posted 3 years ago by miu #

  24. Goodnight, NNGM. I hope you aren't too sore from your exertions today!

    Hi, Karin and WWM!

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  25. Hi all!

Posted 3 years ago by 4 kits staff #

  26. Is there a cough suppressant you can use so you and Mr. WWM can get some rest?

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  27. Well, I think that I am off for the evening. Maybe a teeny bowl of ice cream and then a book and a warm bed.

Take good care, everyone! Maybe the news will all be brighter tomorrow.

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  28. Hi, Dorie!! How was your Halloween??

    Goodnight, WWM. Sweet dreams!

Posted 3 years ago by Kitten Whisperer #

  29. Oh, I do have a cough syrup, KW. I hate to admit it but the taste and texture of it is sort of gaggy. But I might have to be brave and take a tablespoon of it tonight!

Posted 3 years ago by WillowandWindismom #

  30. Good Night WWM. I think chocolate ice cream will cure just about anything. Too bad I don't have any.
