   Hello all! I love KOTD! It gives me a happy feeling every morning when I check it. I'm a lifelong staff member of a number of cats too large to remember! I remember about 10 as my "lifelong" babies. My current baby, Sonsy, has asthma. First time for this! I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in this area.

   PS: "Sonsy" is a Scottish word for healthy, robust and buxom. I gave her a name to grow into! Google it and you may find her picture!

   Welcome, Rose --- actually we call the site "TDK" for The Daily Kitten, and it gives us all a happy feeling every morning -- so we're right there with you on that!

   I don't have any experience with asthma in cats, but I don't doubt one of us will prove to be astute in that area.

   Welcome, Rosebrowne! Sorry to hear your little one has asthma.... I'm not experienced with the condition in cats, and hope that in Sonsy's case it's not too extreme. Here's positive thoughts and headbonks for Sonsy!

   Sonsy is beautiful. I found her catster page and my girls sent friend invites. My Sophie is a tortie and she is a beauty, too; although she is probably the most mellow cat I have ever had.
