    CM, speech development in children can vary tremendously. The most important thing not to miss is a hearing impediment, not just total deafness. If that is OK and her social development is OK, just read (and read some more) and play with her like the wonderful Mom that you are and she will be fine.

    Her name is Pumpkin because she was found on a farm that was selling pumpkins just before Halloween. She is all black with a few white hairs on her legs.

    Thank you all for the response to the breast cancer awareness email. My mother-in-law that died in May learned that she had breast cancer 15 years ago this month.

    Hi everyone!!!
    My son started talking when he was about a year old...didn't stop until he turned 12...13 to 18 the only words he knew was quote "I don't know"...from 19 to about 25 he didn't have time to talk to me cause he was to busy. At 26 he got married and I was amazed at how smart he thought I was!!! He would actually ask me my opinion!!! So there is hope for all!!!!

    LOL @ "I don't know." I hear that a lot when my two kids were teens. Other responses were "fine" in response to "How was your day?" and "nothing" to "What did you do at school today?"

    She sure did. It was February when we learned it had moved to her liver. That was the beginning of the end. My husband went home them--Thank God. I just want all women to be able to be tested, especially is someone in the immediate family has breast cancer. And this ad was just plain cute!
