Have you tried chicken breasts stuffed with camembert and wrapped in bacon? Could be a winner for HM!

Polly's Mum - I am a notoriously plain eater. If you're not gonna fry that chicken breast, I'm not gonna eat it. LOL

their spinach/artichoke dip ain't too bad either for a gal who loves her chips and dips (maybe I'll start a chips/dips thread!). Probably because it has a lot of cheese in it!

I love cheese! Brie, gruyere, swiss, jack, mozzarella and all the others. Yum! If I had to give up cheese, I would be very sad.

Me too, Karin. Not as sad as I would be if I had to give up pork chops, but still very sad.

AH cmon HM. Rub the inside of the chicken breast with garlic, wrap it round the piece of camembert, wrap a couple of slices of bacon round the outside to hold it all together. Chop up some onion, put it into the base of a micrwavable dish, put the chicken on top of the onion. pour some white wine over and cover with cling film. Microwave for about 8 minutes (depends on what wattage you have)take the chicken out to rest, mix some cream into the wine and juices, put the chicken on the plate and pour the sauce over. YUM!

I love baked Mozzarella. I go to the Deli and get them to slice 1 inch thick slices of mozzarella. (one slice per person) I marinate the cheese in a high quality italian dressing (Ken's Steakhouse Italian with aged Roma) for at least overnight if not 24 hours and put eachs slice on its own oven proof plate or baking dish and pour the dressing over it. Bake at 350 until it is melted and serve it with french bread slices. Talk about good!!!!!!!!!

I think I would rather give up meat than cheese. Does bacon count as meat? Bacon might cause problems - no, cheese wins. If I had to choose I would choose cheese.

Double Glousceter. it is an English Cheddar layered with Stilton. M M M talk about a lovely cheese to have with some wine! Hey CatRancher this would go great with a bottle of 7 Deadly zins!

Mmmmmmmmmm, cheese. Like cheese. As long as it hasn't got blue stuff in it. Don't do mouldy cheese (ducks to the shouts of philistine!!!)

It's been a long time since I've drooled on my keyboard -- but all this talk of yummy cheese and yummy cheese recipes has me doing just that!

Cheese is the reason I'm a vegetarian and NOT a vegan. I couldn't stand it if I had to go the rest of my life without cheese ANY kind of cheese. YUM. Ppearson, that baked mozzarella sounds GREAT!

Here's one for Huddy's Mama - spread slices of bread with mustard, top with cheddar cheese, apple slices and grilled bacon. Grill sandwiches and enjoy! Had them last night and they were amazing.

I love goat cheese with figs. I literally cannot keep that in the house because I eat it ALL. Also love fresh mozzarella with basil leaves and tomato slice on a warm piece of french bread...the bread must be soft on the inside with a hard crunchy outer crust. I love sharp cheddar slices with Granny Smith apples.

Instinct, it's scary how much we have the same taste (though others would add "or lack thereof") I'm a sharp cheddar person, myself (if I don't cut my finger on the cheese, it's not sharp enough!
Although (adopting "Wallace" accent) "I do like a bit of Gorgonzola. Not even Wensleydale? It's like no cheese I've ever tasted!"
