  1. The search for the answer to this question is on-going and sparks many a debate. Here is one perspective:

  2. That is so cute!!! I am going to print that out!!! I find the only problem I have with 5 cats is that I have started calling them the wrong names..you know kinda like people do with their kids!!!! Sometimes I will go thru the list before I get it right...LOL I can remember my mom doing that to us growing up and I just couldn't believe out of 4 kids that she couldn't remember our names!!! Now I know how she feels!!!!

  9. I believe as long as you have the finances...and can hire good help..the Cat house of the Kings would be my goal!!

  10. Well, I have 8, and that is probably 3 or 4 too many. They fight all the time - and most of them are related!

  11. I remember the day when my youngest waited patiently for her grandmother to run through a list in chronological order of my two half sisters, my name, and all the granddaughters and step granddaughters before reaching the right one and then saying politely,"Yes, Grandma?"

How many names? Total TEN. There would have been more but Mom left out the boys.

  12. Our city law allows only 3 cats per household. All must have their rabies shots and be registered with the city each year.

  13. Well lets see, there where 18 points on the list, only 4 apply to me. I guess that means I need more kitties!!! I currently have 7 + Cheri's 2 so I will have to do the math! I loved this list and have printed it out so I can show it to all of the non cat people who think I have too many! HAHAHA!!!

  14. Lol, loved the article, the cat stories along the left side are great too. I have five inside + 1 outside patio cat who is trying to convince me to take him inside. We have tussles throughout the day, most of it good natured wrestling and very little real fighting.

  15. As many as you can comfortably afford, or have space for. *sigh*

  16. I currently have two and if I had a house I think I would first want to see how it is with 4. If I can deal with that many..then maybe 6. I have a feeling with all the work of feeding and keeping the litter box clean that 4 might be my limit.

  17. I agree SMM, Id love to have 4. Id love to have a nice big place with perhaps a side door that allows the cats to come out into a special large enclosed cat play area :) I think I would need a large several acer lot whith maby half an acer devoted to the enclosed cat play area :)
