  1. I was surprised that they didn't ask for any identification when voting. It seems like it would be easy to take just anyone else's voter registration card and go vote (if they're like me and didn't sign it until right before voting!)

  2. That's too bad sandi. I hope this person becomes scarce for you.

  3. Hello all !!!

I can't vote this year because my official residence right now is my parent's and I got here too late to register...

  4. I agree, Bobbi, I don't think any results should be predicted until voting is done on the west coast. Its hard to feel like your vote counts when the election is called before your polls close. I do feel that the local elections are really important though and I really do have influence there one votes worth anyway

  5. Hi Cheri! How are you feeling?

I agree ctr. Local elections are important, too.

  6. I hope so, too but I don't think it will happen soon. We are talking control freak here. Oh well

  7. Cheri--you could've voted with a valid driver's liscense. Of course, you would've had to have voted at the precinct in your 'old' neighborhood.

  8. GD didn't mean loud as in heavy metal or rock. I jsut meant a favorite cd or station played jsut loud enough to drown their stuff out!

  9. I cross all over party lines. I admit I voted for two people because the other side made such nasty ads and upon investigation they were way off base

  10. I tried to encourage my grandson who turned 18 this year to vote, but it never happened. I couldn't wait to be old enough to vote the first time.

  11. I don't have to do gym or physical therapy tomorrow. My mom and dad are going out of town tomorrow and leaving me home. Their plans were changed from Friday to Wednesday and I had to cancel PT for tomorrow and they're all full up for Friday. So that means PT Thursday and gym Friday and Saturday. PT again on Monday, Wed., Friday next week. Probably 5 or 6 weeks more of PT until the doctor signs off on me. I see him Nov. 21st, and when he signs off then I contact work, which will arrange a work physical for me. I could end up not going back to work until end of January, mid-February...

  12. At least you're making progress, Cheri--that's what matters the most.

I know there was a lot of drama at your workplace before you got sick. Have they been treating you well throughout your ordeal? I sure do hope so!

  13. Take full advantage of that cheri. If you don't NEED to go back to work soon, don't.

  14. How much does Zippy weigh, Bobbi?

Posted 3 years ago by FondaHonda #

  15. I've been treated fine. I'm mostly in contact with HR.

  16. NOOOOOO! Old Boss just called me. He's eager to get me his old tv and now has decided he wants to come over tonight when I get home and hook it up for me. Not only do I have to go walk a dog before I get home, but my place is an enormous, embarassing mess and I don't feel like going home and cleaning up at this hour. Arrrrrgh! :(

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  17. Glad to hear that, Cheri. One less thing to worry about, huh? :)

Posted 3 years ago by FondaHonda #

  18. I'm going to escape the gym right now and hurry home to clean up - check back later!

  19. Dad has bladder cancer surgery tomorrow. It may be the last one. Fingers crossed for that. It has been coming back slower and smaller each time. His next checkup will be in about 3 months, but they will go up to Syracuse in about 2 weeks to hear what the surgeon saw and did.

  20. I hate when that happens GD. Some of us need time.

Posted 3 years ago by Cat talk rules #

  21. Cheri, I hope things go well for your Dad.

Posted 3 years ago by Cat talk rules #

  22. Sounds like good news there cheri.
I tried weighing Zippy FH, but I wasn't very successful. I finally got a scale at home, but I couldn't see it when I held him. I will have to get someone else to hold him for his weight.

  23. Heheehhe GD!

  24. I have a hard time weighing Tessie, too. I was shocked at how much weight she has lost and I felt bad that I didn't realize it sooner. I knew she was skinny but she has been ever since she got sick

  25. Hello, all! Been away, computer took a dump, bought another one and seems to be good to go! Cheri, good to see you, please don't push your recovery. We want to see you well, and all things take time. Prayers are with you.

Don't know what's happened the past 3 or 4 days. Don't want you to think I forgot anyone. I heard of LynnMo and my prayers are with her, as well as with Renee. Got an email back from Ron, I know he is comforted by our thoughts and prayers and contact. If I missed something else, please let me know. Can't go on at work anymore, time restraints, Kay does her best to keep me up to date.

I have lost all email adresses, so if you want me in your loop, please email me back. I have the same name, luckylady422 at verizon dot net. If you do, please let me know your name since some of us have other names other than tdk monitors so I know how to put you back in my address book. So sorry to have lost that, but had no choice.

  26. prayers for Cheri's dad. My God, girl, don't you have enough on your plate. I am praying for you all.

  27. Oh, and what I'm about to say is no surprise. I will have to sue my former slimelord to get my deposits back. He made a list and sent it to my mother. Some of the things included $640 loss of rental income for October because he wasn't able to show the apt. because of all the "damage" I caused. $400 for a new bathroom floor for 2 cracked tiles that "couldn't be replaced", $250 for half of a linoleum kitchen floor for damage caused before I ever moved in. What a scum...

  28. LYNN!!!!!!!!!!!! Waving hands!!!!!!!!
I have been on the last couple days and have been wondering how you are doing with your job.
What happened with LynnMo? I didn't catch any of that news.

Posted 3 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

  29. Hey Bobbi, give me a minute here. Cheri, I don't know what to say with this, but this guy is scum. I hope you have some recourse that your place wasn't made bad by you and was that way before you moved in. And since you have been in the hospital that should count for something.

Hey, Bobbi, hope you are well, long time no see! Hanging with the job, need the money. Lynn Mo's dad committed suicide about a month or so ago I think, don't know if I have the facts right. Her brother did the same in the last week and her aunt died, so she is kind of lost right now. And I wouldn't want to be walking in her shoes right now.

  30. Hi Lynn, I hardly ever get on here when you are here. :)
