I agree, HM. If he loved that dog at all, he's gotta be hurting. It's like people who forget kids in the car or on the bus. How?

Agreed. I can't find respect anywhere in my heart or head for an individual who does something like that. -- and then takes it all so lightly on top of it all. HA!!! He's glad he still has his job! What a puny reaction. I guess when he said he wanted to work with the dog that he bought for the department he meant it.....
The laws should be changed in Chandler (and why not in all of Arizona while we're at it) to make animal abuse a crime with more stringent and serious consequences!

Oh yeah, I thought it was a puny response myself to the whole issue. And he was the head of the K-9 division of the police department, that makes it even sadder.
