Please say a prayer for my Mom and Dad. She started having chest pains went to the physicians assistant in their small town. They did some tests and found out a certain enzyme was way to high. They redid the test still too high and sent her to the emergency room about 40 miles away. This is really hard on my Dad, as he is really dependent on her. She is 80

Prayers for your Mom, Sandi. That sounds very scary, hope they will be able to catch the problem quickly. What hospital are they taking her to? Will you be able to join them. Your poor dad, he must be so upset. At least the PA was doing good by sending them off to the hospitsl; always thought if you are going to have a heart attack, good to be in the hospital first!

PJ, ST. Pats and we know that there are really good heart doctors in this area. My brother and his wife are with them. She asked us (my sister and I not to come right now) so even though part of me wants to run right over for the moment I am following her wishes.

OMG, CTR.. My parents are 80 too, and I feel so much for you. My prayers are being sent to your family. Be strong.... and I must tell you, I showed up uninvited when my Dad was in the hospital, and I wish I hadn't....

The prayers worked. They are on their way home--the tests they did couldn't find anything wrong except for a cyst in or on her thyroid. The Dr. told her to have that looked into but at her age there might not be anything they can or want to do as long as it doesn't cause a lot of trouble. Thanks everyone for your prayers and concern it really helps.
